Women's Ministry

Our goal in Women's Ministry is to:

  • Enhance the spiritual growth of women
  • Provide opportunities for fellowship and encouragement
  • Develop leadership skills in ministry and service in order that Jesus Christ may be exalted in our lives, in our homes, in our workplace and in our community.

We do this through connecting women with the life of the church through Bible studies,
programming and special events. For more information about Women's Ministry,

Bible Studies

Stronger: Finding Hope in Fragile Places by Angela Thomas

Cost for this study is $15 | Day & evening options available

Wednesdays | 6-8p | August 23 - October 4

Thursdays | 9-11a | August 24 - October 5

Through biblical teaching and real life application, this study teaches that believers do not have to live in weakness. God is stronger than every struggle you will ever face. All who receive Jesus Christ have been hidden in Him. We have been made alive in Him through forgiveness of our sin, filled in Him with all the fullness given to Him, brought near to God in Him and blessed with every spiritual blessing in Him. This study will guide women in biblical truth through exposition and story, so they live confident, transformed, Christ-radiating lives marked by His strength.

The Amazing Collection: 1 Chronicles - Daniel

Cost for this 3-book set is $35 | Day & evening options available

Wednesdays | 6-8p | August 23 - December 13

Thursdays | 9-11a | August 24 - December 14

This popular book by book study brings the main characters and the themes of the Bible alive with dynamic teaching, original music videos and personal testimonies. It has been a favorite of both the young and older women and those new to their walk with the Lord as well as those who have been studying His Word for some time. We recommend that every woman do this study at least once.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Prayer shawls are given to those in need or support, empathy, even celebration. We call them knitted or crocheted hugs to show Christ's love and kindness to a hurting world.

The Prayer Shawl team is looking for those who knit, crochet or people who would like to learn how to knit or crochet. We meet the last Tuesday of each month, 9:30-11a in room 218 and on Hobby Nights. You do not have to attend one of these sessions to contribute to this ministry, BUT it is a great place to help find new friends.
