My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity. Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:1-6

Discipleship
Be a disciple...wait, a what? In Matthew 28, Jesus tells His followers to 'go and make disciples.' It's at the very core of our faith in Jesus yet as we often associate the Christian faith as attending church but it's so much more than that. A disciple is one who responds in faith and obedience to the call to follow Jesus. It's a lifelong process of continuing to move closer to Jesus each and every day. So how do we do that? For each of us, it's going to be a little different but at the core we believe there are three elements that move us closer to Jesus:
- Getting involved in a Biblical community like a small group.
- Practicing spiritual disciplines such as prayer, Bible study and fasting.
- Serving and using our spiritual gifts to build up the church and community.
There are lots of ways to get involved in each of those areas so we invite you to take the next step in your walk with Jesus and become a disciple. If you have any questions about any of those areas or you need help find a place to start, contact Tyler Tolbert, Outreach & Discipleship Minister.
Women's Ministry
Each of us are on a journey in life that the Lord desires to lead us toward all the good He has planned for us. As women, we are blessed to be able to come alongside each other in this journey; a journey that will grow us and our relationship with the Lord, allow us to serve together and to reach other women in our community to know the kind of hope that only Christ can provide.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Beth and Melissa Moore lead you on a 6-week excursion to Galatia to learn more about the community that inspired Paul's impassioned letter! Faced with the challenge of remaining true to the gospel of Jesus Christ instead of submitting to the yoke of slavery again, they needed to hear this message then---as we do today. You can find out more about this study by checking out this video.
Elijah - Faith and Fire | $20.00
Thursday AM | April 8 - May 27 | Register by Sunday, March 28A 7-Session Study on the Prophet Elijah from Best-Selling Author Priscilla Shirer
Old Testament heroes are best known for their most celebrated moments: Moses dividing the Red Sea; David slaying Goliath; Gideon routing an insurmountable army; Joshua marching around the defiant walls of Jericho.
And Elijah—calling down fire on Mount Carmel.
Blinded by the remarkable narratives of our biblical heroes, we can forget they each had a backstory—months and years of development, even difficulty, which fortified their spiritual muscle and prepared them for the tasks that made their lives unforgettable. You can find out more about this study by checking out this video.
