Women's Ministry

Each of us are on a journey in life that the Lord desires to lead us toward all the good He has planned for us.

As women, we are blessed to be able to come alongside each other in this journey; a journey that will grow us
and our relationship with the Lord, allow us to serve together and to reach other women in our
community to know the kind of hope that only Christ can provide.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you
and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like the it:  'Love your neighbor as yourself.' Matthew 22:37-40

The Amazing Life of Jesus Christ (two 12 week sessions)

Thursday AM - Led by Vania Starr & Sue Weber and Carolyn Clark & Diana Dailey

"Who do you say that I am?" - Jesus Christ

The most important question ever asked. Our answer not only determines our future but also how we live every day of our lives. But first, we have to know: who is Jesus? What did He say and do while He was on earth? Why should that matter to me today?

Whether you are just meeting Jesus for the first time or if you have known Him for years, the Scripture and in-depth, thoughtful questions in The Amazing Life of Jesus Christ will
help you apply His truth to your life. It's time for you to answer the question Jesus still asks us today.

    Thursday AM | 9:00-11:00a | September 6 - December 13

Step into the Light - Reconcile old losses and open the door to infinite joy and love

    Led by Jenny Lowry

All of us have a personal loss inventory: job loss, the empty nest, loss of innocence, death of a loved one, loss of physical objects small or big, life developmental transitions that did not go well, estranged relationships, loss of health, death of pets and many more. And most of us have some level of stored grief over those losses. Unmourned loss will not result in the kind of life that god desires for us. Unmourned grief will carry itself into the future where it has the potential to undermine one's health, happiness, habits, relationships and ability for spiritual growth.

Join this group as we study Dr. Alan Wolfelt's book Living in the Shadow of the Ghosts of Grief, to put some truth behind the understanding of grieving and mourning old losses and to gently mover toward some measure of healing and hope.

    Thursday AM | 9:00-11:00a | September 6 - October 18

Online registration has ended for this class. If you are interested in this class, please contact Nancy Lewis at 812.379.4491 or here.
