At First Christian Church, we offer fantastic programs for kids from 6 weeks old through 6th grade! Your children will be in a safe and loving environment where they can learn about Jesus and have a great time doing it.

 

If you have babies or toddlers, their classroom is conveniently located on the main floor. All other kids (ages 3 through grade 6) meet in our fun-filled lower level. We’re dedicated to creating an engaging experience for your kids, and we can’t wait to welcome you and your family to FCC Kids!

Safe & Secure at FCC Kids!

 

At First Christian Church, our FCC Kids volunteers are trained to provide a welcoming and secure environment, giving families peace of mind while they attend the service. Every volunteer undergoes a thorough background check, and the kids' hallway is closely monitored by both security personnel and security cameras.

WHAT WE TEACH

Engaging Lessons for Every Child

 

At First Christian Church, your kids will enjoy age-appropriate lessons designed to teach them about God and His love in a way that resonates with them. Our interactive teaching approach caters to various learning styles, ensuring every child can connect with the message. Our goal is for kids to understand who Jesus is and how He can make a difference in their lives—all while having a lot of fun!

EARLY CHILDHOOD | BABIES - PREK

BABIES & TODDLERS

Nursery and Toddler Care: 6 Weeks - Potty Trained

 

We understand that our youngest members need a place to move around and feel comfortable. During the first service, our nursery and toddler rooms are available but unstaffed, allowing parents to bring their little ones in to play and get their wiggles out starting at 9:00 am on Sundays. For the second service, our nursery and toddler rooms are staffed with our wonderful volunteers who are ready to welcome and care for your child. Check-in for the second service begins at 10:15 am. We look forward to providing a safe and loving environment for your little ones!

PRESCHOOL 

Preschool Program: Ages 3-5

 

Our FCC Kids classroom for ages 3-5 is open during both first and second-hour services. In this welcoming space, preschoolers can explore a variety of theme-based stations, enjoy engaging Bible video lessons, participate in crafts, and join in worship and snack time. It’s a fun and meaningful way for your little ones to learn about Jesus and build friendships. We’re excited to be a part of your child’s spiritual journey!

GRADE SCHOOL 

GRADES K-4

Exciting Kids Programming Every Sunday!

We have something special planned for your kids every Sunday, and we can’t wait for them to join us! Our engaging programming is available during both the first and second services, and each has its own unique focus.

 

During the first service, kids will dive into small group work, build lasting friendships, and explore the Bible in a hands-on, meaningful way. The second service is packed with fun activities, including a morning meeting, theme-based stations, games, crafts, and so much more.

 

Our goal is to create a fun, friendly environment where every child can make new friends and grow in their relationship with Jesus. We hope your kids will come and be part of the adventure!

GRADES 5-6 ~ The Edge

Join Us for Tween Time!

Our awesome tweens group meets during the first service at 9 a.m. every Sunday morning, and we’d love for your child to be a part of it! This is a special time designed just for them to participate in small group studies, play games, connect with friends, and dive into God’s Word with our dedicated leaders, Jeff Logston and Merle Laswell.

 

After the first service, tweens are encouraged to make a difference by serving in the K-4 room during the 10:30 service or by joining their families and friends in the Worship Center. It's a fantastic way to be involved, grow in faith, and experience church in a whole new way!
