A strong spiritual core helps prevent all kinds of unhealth, protects the heart, and mind, & soul, reduces a lot of the pain life throws at us, improves our confidence in God’s faithfulness, and just makes you feel better overall. 


A strong spiritual core comes by growing in God’s Word. The Bible says, “There’s nothing like the written Word of God for showing you the way to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)


We will strengthen our core through the Core 52 Experience. For the next year we’ll be looking at 52 passages that will help you:


1. Discover the big picture of God’s Word

2. Equip you to study the Bible with clarity and confidence

3. Apply God’s Word to your daily life

This series is for those who have never cracked open a Bible, and for those who have studied it from cover to cover, and everyone in between. It’s for both young and old.

Friday - Friends and family can read us better than we can read ourselves. Ask them where in your life you need to rest. Inform them of your intention to practice Sabbath in a practical way, and let them hold you accountable.

Saturday - Memorize Colossians 2:20-21 "Since you died with Christ to the elemental spiritual forces of this world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its rules: 'Do not handle! Do not taste! Don not touch!'?""
