Now Hiring ~ Children's Minister

PURPOSE

Partnering with families in Growing Followers of Jesus Who Are Growing Followers of Jesus by providing comprehensive vision, direction, development, and management for all aspects of ministry to children (infants - 6th grade) through safe, engaging Jesus-centered community.

GENERAL QUALITIES

Professed belief in Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior
 

Have regular spiritual growth patterns (Bible study, prayer life, fellowship with others, regular worship practices, biblical financial habits)

 

The ability to be self-motivated, to prioritize and manage the workload, analyze problems, and create solutions. This includes time management, detail-oriented, problem-solving abilities, decision making skills, and flexibility

 

The ability to serve as a collaborative team member of the staff by being a consistently positive presence in the office, contributing to church-wide efforts, delegating, communicating clearly, and playing a significant role in staff culture health

EXPECTATION

The scope of the job will be to partner with families in raising growing followers of Jesus - lead and develop the volunteer leaders who directly engage with kids/families in growing followers of Jesus who are growing followers of Jesus. You are first and foremost a Christ follower who adheres to the Bible as the inspired and inerrant Word of God. You embody in your own life the ethos of family discipleship that we want to see characterize the culture of First Christian Church.

Now Hiring ~ Next Gen Assistant

We are looking for a part-time administrative assistant. This person would work with the Next Gen team but also work with the FCC adminstrative staff.

GENERAL QUALITIES

  • Professed belief in Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior. Growing through Bible study, prayer life, fellowship, regular worship practices, biblical financial habits.
  • Be a self-starter, prioritize & manage workflows, ability to analyze and make decisions that lead to solutions.
  • The ability to interact with people of all ages and postions, competent in listening, speaking, and presenting information in writing.
  • Enthusiastic & Positive
  • Work collaboratively with FCC's pastoral & administrative support team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Applications, Planning Center Online (PCO - will train), pertinent social media platforms, and Canva
