What is Rooted?

Rooted is two parts: discussion and experience. During the ten weeks, your group will engage in discussions around the material read, and then participate in experiences that put the lessons (and rhythms) into action!

Prayer Experience

Throughout Scripture, we see the importance of intentional communication with God, and the impact it can make individually and as a community. The prayer experience will help you cultivate a deeper relationship with God as you and your group practice the rhythm of taking time to speak with God. Time and location will be scheduled by your group.

Serve Experience

As followers of Christ, we're asked to love and serve the people around us. Through this serving opportunity, you'll exerience Christ's servant heart, focus on building relationships, and encounter the needs of others. Your group's specific information will be provided by your group leader.

Story Experience

Our life storeis have th epower to break down barriers of fear, miscommunications, and isolation, while making personal connections with others. Throughout your Rooted experience and specifically during week 9, your group will spend time praying and preparing for opportunities to share your own individual life stories, including where you are currently in your journey with Christ, and how you got there.

Have your roots planted deep in Christ. Grow in Him. Get your strength from Him.

Rooted: Growing Deeper in Faith

We are all rooted through our faith in Jesus.

In this sermon series, we explore the themes from the Rooted study—diving into the new story we enter through faith in Jesus Christ and learning how to share that story with others. If you’ve completed Rooted or are just starting your journey, this series will encourage and equip you to grow deeper in your relationship with God, the church, and your purpose.
